Offriamo anche tour di trekking nel deserto, personalizzati nella durata e guidati da nomadi locali. Godetevi la pace del deserto mentre camminate attraverso paesaggi mozzafiato, accampate sotto le stelle e assaggiate piatti tradizionali. We (a couple in our 40/50s from Germany / Finland) stayed at Dar Tirhal in November 2025 for two nights and this was the absolute highlight of our Morocco trip! We highly recommend staying at Dar Tirhal. We should have stayed there longer because it offers so much, and Himmi and Sahra are really exceptional hosts.
This is why:
The location is exceptional; the house is a bit elevated from the valley overlooking a gorgeous landscape, it is possible to leave the car untouched for a day or more and just to have a walk / day trips in the surrounding hills and to experience the desert. Himmi is the best person to give advice.
The rooms and the house are just beautiful: The room we stayed has a spacious and very clean bathroom with shower, the bed is comfortable, the walls are paved with local clay and everything smells very good and fresh. The room opens toward a small courtyard where Himmi and Sahra placed us a table and cushions to sit.
The food and the tea are exceptional: We got extremely yummy herb tee (the best we had throughout our trip), were taken care of with snacks: stuffed dates, olives, nuts, raisins and cookies. The breakfast was breathtaking with scrambled eggs with fresh vegetables, homemade date sirup, jam, omelette and freshly baked bread. The dinner was royal, varied, and of high quality. A rich vegetarian option is also possible.
And finally, Himmi and Sahra are impressive and experienced hosts who take very good care of the guests: very welcoming, attentive, respectful and open minded.

It was a true pleasure to host this lovely couple at Dar Tirhal. From the very beginning, the communication with them was perfect — friendly, quick, and very easy. They were respectful, kind, and clear during the booking process and before their arrival, which made everything smooth and enjoyable for us as hosts.
During their stay, they were absolutely wonderful guests: warm, polite, and very appreciative of the house and the surroundings. They took great care of the room and the spaces, and it was a joy to see how much they enjoyed the nature, the food, and the peaceful atmosphere here. Their kindness and positivity brought a very special energy to Dar Tirhal, and we are grateful for the beautiful connection created over such a short stay.
We would welcome them back at any time — for a longer stay next time, hopefully!
